JOB SUMMARY City Wide Property Services, Inc. currently has an opening for a Mobile Day Porter to join our expanding team in the Sacramento area! For over two decades, City Wide has been a trusted ownership for property and facility managers throughout California, providing commercial properties with first-class maintenance and service repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Have basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in ground and facility maintenance environments • Knowledge of general safety practices and procedures related to custodial/maintenance work. • Remove debris and litter from assigned locations • Collect shopping carts belonging to local businesses and report the need for removal of other carts not belonging to tenants • Remove and dispose of illegally dumped items and bulky trash • Report graffiti, illegal dumping, suspicious activity, and unsafe conditions promptly • Employ safe handling techniques in the collection and disposal of needles • Safely report and dispose of human and/or animal excrement • Work with County agencies to identify and address issues including homeless encampments and vandalism • Other duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS • At least two (2) years of verifiable experience in maintenance, custodial work, and exterior building cleaning • At least one (1) year of experience operating a full-size truck with an attached trailer • Ability to walk, kneel, climb, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, and any other related physical activity necessary in performing maintenance work. • Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 55 pounds. • Basic analytical and computer skills (Use of mobile devices Ex: Tablets and Cell Phone) • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. • High school diploma or GED • Pass a background check, drug screen, and work physical • Clean driving record for 5 years (Copy of your MVR) • Clean and neat appearance
