Description
There is a very clear difference between owning arms and own in assault weapons. I am hunter. I have two shot guns and two rifles. I appreciate the 2nd amendment. But there is not practical use for me to own handguns or AR's. I agree with the OP. folks who buy assault weapons are not typically sportsmen. A man that lives in a state of fear is the man that buys assault weapons. AR15's are one of the least practical weapons for protecting yourself or your home. These weapons are not designed for or practical for close range use.
67 years on this planet and I have never once had the need for any handgun. There has never been a single circumstance when I wised I had one.
Common sense is a far greater strategy to protect myself and my family than any gun. Guns are for hunting.
