We are looking for at least a years’ experience driving trucks with a class A or B cdl. We are willing to train you in operating a front discharge mixer truck. This is a full-time job with benefits working out of a single location in Belgrade. This means you are home every night. Functional Responsibilities: -Responsible for safely hauling Concrete to jobsites. -Utilize defensive driving practices. -Adhere to company policies for Personal Protective Equipment. -Maintain an alert awareness of potential jobsite or plant hazards. -Efficient Delivery Practices: Drivers maintain a sense of urgency throughout the day to deliver product safely and efficiently. Be ready to load at scheduled times, ensure that delivery is completed safely and timely in a professional and courteous manner. -Properly maintain equipment by conducting the proper daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and mechanical write-ups. -Properly operate the truck and other types of equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines. -Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with customers. Anticipate and fulfill all customer needs possible. -Maintain trucks in a consistently clean condition. The cab is always clean and well-ordered, and the exterior appearance of the truck is maintained each day. General Responsibilities: -Strong understanding and daily compliance with safety standards and FMCSA DOT REGULATIONS -Conduct a Daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report any issues to shop/management -Observe, Inspect, and Report equipment or mechanical failures immediately -Ensure truck is ready for next day’s business -Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic -Ability to safely operate in a fast-paced environment and in the elements Qualifications: -Previous Concrete Mixer Truck experience preferred, but not required -CDL Class A or B (1 year CDL experience required) -Clean driving record required -DOT physical and drug test required Physical Requirements: -Capable of working outside in all weather conditions and in elevated areas. -Ability to walk, climb, grasp, stand, and balance. -Ability to lift objects of various dimensions and weights. -Ability to perform sustained overhead reaching.
