Primetime NE Productions needs M or F band roadie/assistant ASAP for multiple bands & gigs throughout New England. Qualities we're looking for: -Be trustworthy, prompt, professional & enjoy being around musicians. -Be very self-sufficient, have a serious work ethic, and take direction well. -Be physically fit, and able to do some moderately heavy lifting. -Have your own transportation &/or be able to travel with a band member. -Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years old, available most weekends & able to commit to a scheduled calendar. Some experience is preferred but will train as needed. Duties mostly include: -Helping unload/load musical equipment and production in and out of venues. -Assisting sound tech with production set-up routine..including some lighting. -Assist drummer with set-up / breakdown. (experience with drums helpful) -Assist other musicians if needed. Unique opportunity for the right individual. Especially music students & anyone interested in learning & obtaining experience with drums, audio engineering, production, etc. This is NOT a full-time job, not looking for advanced musicians or a pro soundman, just a part-time, laid-back assistant. Pay varies by gig, duties, time frame, etc. Meals are always provided.
