We are looking for one experienced full time and one part time dependable housekeeper and a part time laundry attendant to join our team. In housekeeping, you will make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us. In laundry, you will be making sure all linens and towels are washed, dried, and folded and ready for the housekeepers to get there rooms done in a timely manner. Housekeeping Job Responsibilities: Cleans and sanitizes hotel and guest rooms Vacuums and sweeps floors, carpets, and rugs Makes beds and changes linens Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops Replenishes toiletries and towels Empties trash receptacles Clean public areas, like corridors, public restrooms Report any technical issues and maintenance needs Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services) Help guests retrieve lost items Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift Follow hotel security guidelines Pay: $19.50 Laundry Job Responsibilities: Laundry Attendant making sure all linens and towels are washed, dried, and folded and ready for the room attendants to get there rooms done. Stock each floor with linens if and when needed. Pay: $18 Skills: Work experience as a housekeep or in laundry is a plus, however if you have a strong work ethic and take pride in your work, do not be discouraged if you lack the experience Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products Good physical health and stamina Ability to work with little or no supervision in a high volume atmosphere Excellent organization skills Ability to follow instructions Dependable and Punctual We are very flexible and know that everyone can be trained up to do the job well. Pay & Benefits: - $18/hr or $19/hr DOE, $0.50 raise every 6 months up to $22/hr If full-time, these benefits are added in 45days. We pay for: - 75% of medical insurance (Kaiser Permanente Silver and/or Gold Plan) - 100% of $50,000 life insurance - 0% of dental and eye insurance
