Seeking to start a Groovy Jam Rock Band

hello there! Subject line says it all. I am looking to start a groovy jammy rock band. As a preface, jamming is strongly encouraged, NOT needed every song, and songwriting and good lyrics are really important to me, and hopefully to you. Above all, even above jamming and improvising is GROOVE and RHYTHM. The most important of all! So hopefully that preface is in line with your desires as well. If it is, continue onwards! ____ I play guitar and can sing vocals. I have played nearly 18 years at this point. Big influences are; In the jam style, String Cheese Incident, Phish, some Grateful Dead, numerous other jam bands. Some older bands like Little Feat. Outside of jam bands, really into some good 90s indie rock and alt rock. Think bands like Soul Coughing, The Verve, Six Underground. Also into some modern electronic jammy styles by bands like Octave Cat, Lotus, The Floozies. ___ This is a list of some influences, but of course, it is non-exhaustive. ___ So I am looking for other musicians. Guitar, Bass, Keys, Drums, Percussion, the typical instrumentation. Singers welcome as well. I have a really nice place to jam a couple miles outside of Arcata, in Bayside. We can be loud, creative, and its nestled in the redwoods, so some good natural creativity there as well. I am 32 years old, super dedicated, passionate, and would love to manifest a musical project with others. Would like to create, record, tour, the whole thing. Feel free to reach out.
