Richey Contracting LLC is looking to hire a full-time, reliable worker for a physically demanding position as laborer. We are a fencing & fence-repair company located in Spokane, WA. Working hours (depending on weather) are Monday – Friday, approx. 8 AM – 4:30 PM. Company t-shirts provided. Pay for entry level is $17.00+ DOE. REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs. repeatedly; carry/transport equipment/supplies throughout job sites. - Ability to get oneself to jobsites all over the greater Spokane area reliably. - Use manual & power tools safely, including drills, saws, augers, & nail guns. Follow all safety guidelines. - Strong & reliable communication skills during working hours, including having a reliable mobile with text capabilities. - Amicably take direction from owners/leads, including female leads. - Be a self-starter: someone who can make progress without constant supervision. - Treat all clients, property, & materials with care. - Ability to work in all sorts of weather, with your own weather-appropriate workwear, including ankle-supporting footwear. We work outdoors for 99% of all jobs in all kinds of weather. PREFERENCE: - Be prepared at each job site with a basic set of personal hand tools contained in a toolbelt/vest, including 25 ft tape measure, hammer, speed square, & retractable box knife. - A valid driver’s license. - Non-smokers. Physical fitness will also help this position. - No building experience is required, but is helpful.
