Mowing Technician Hours: Full Time – 40 + hours/week Seasonal with potential for growth Salary: $17/hr. with DL $16/hr. without DL Description: Greenleaf Landscaping, Inc. is seeking entry level Mowing Technicians to perform lawn care maintenance services on customer properties. Responsibilities: • Prep Trucks & equipment, follow inventory procedures. • Openly receive training for field needs, safety, equipment, technique, etc. • Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation. • Proper use of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment. • Address questions or concerns with the clients by forwarding them onto the manager. • Complete all job site reports and report all sales opportunities • Prepare for the next day’s jobs every evening, fill out time sheets daily • Wash dirty equipment {including all mower decks} and return to storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to mowing mechanic. • Fill trucks, mowers, equipment, and cans with fuel additive & fuel in preparation for the next day (or as necessary) • Strict adherence to the company's employee manual & procedures Requirements: • Mowing experience is preferred • Must be 18+ years old • Valid driver’s license • Reliable transportation • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test Qualifications: • Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels • Highly motivated quick learner • Drug free work environment, a random drug test policy is in force • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently throughout the day. • High attention to detail • Available to work in all adverse weather conditions. • Stoop, stand/ push/pull and bend for 10+ hours a day.
