Re: Inflation

It's hard to say what impact Biden's policies have had on other countries. He's certainly screwed our economy up and we were the world leader. So, if his policies forced oil prices up from around $20 a barrel to $120 a barrel, then that would have an impact on other economies. They rely on oil as much as we do. We can't seem to get any straight answers out of the White House. According to Biden, we currently have the strongest economy in history and the greatest growth in the world. If you look at other countries' growth, you'd be hard pressed to find an industrial economy that hasn't out produced (growth) us in the last 18 months. As far as the greatest economy in US history... based on what fairy tale? The only number that he spouts is the unemployment number. But as he said just the other day, we lost "20 million" jobs due to Covid. The numbers a lot closer to 12 million, but whatever. In either case, we've added 8 million of those jobs back. And we have many more people not working, but not necessarily collecting unemployment. It would seem that the greatest economic times in US history would have already recovered more of those lost jobs. Aside from his fraudulent unemployment claim, the inflation rate is around 8.5%, gas is at a record high, our GDP was DOWN 1.4% last quarter, and all of the stock markets have tanked to a point where they were before he was elected. So how on earth can he claim that the economy is moving in a positive direction let alone "the greatest in US history"?
