Description
I'm looking for someone to tile over existing kitchen splash (40 sf) and epoxy resin my kitchen (80 sf) /bathroom (20 sf) countertops. I added photos of my kitchen, and one of the two bathroom sinks. 1. Tile over my existing splash with subway tile following the instructions on the youtube video: 2. Epoxy resin for my kitchen countertops in a marble finish. - For bathroom sinks youtube link: -Kitchen countertops youtube link: For tiling over my existing tile splash (40 sf), I want to use the Eco Prim Grip for primer, Mapei Ultralite Mortar (to a wipe cream texture), tile cutter, use spacers, and metal joint for the edges. I want to remove the electrical plate, and replace with new white plates and use long screws to secure. To epoxy resin for my kitchen countertops (80 sf), and 2 bathroom sinks (about 10 sf each) in a marble finish, I want the floors covered first, remove the sink fixtures, and stove, remove excess silicone and replace with latex with bonding primer, use to cover the edges, and cover the cabinets with plastic, spray with TSP (trisodium phosphate) to degrease and clean, sand the counter, apply bonding primer. For safety aspect of epoxy, I want to use: -no VOC resin epoxy -the person to use a respirator -wear gloves, long sleeve shirts, full length pants, eye covers -have heat gun to spread, and torch to pop the bubbles -water sprits to make floating debris fall to the ground, so reduce debris that can stick to the epoxy resin -keep the ceiling fan on for airflow; keep patio door, and windows opened for ventilation during the process I will be $900 for labor and pay for the materials (backsplash, mortar, epoxy/resin material) separately (you will need to provide receipts). I want this done in 2 days (over a June 18-19, 2022 Saturday & Sunday weekend, starting at 7am each day). You will need to purchase the materials yourself, and bring all the tools necessary to finish the work, and clean up. The ideal person will have prior experience with marble epoxy/resin countertops and have done backsplash in the past. When you email me, please send photos of your prior projects, confirm your availability for June 18/19 weekend. $900 labor (and will pay for materials separately)
