Now that we have your attention... Have you ever wondered "how are big professional fireworks shows put together?" Or "what's it like to light off professional fireworks rather than little consumer ones?" Would you or your friends say you might be a little bit of a "pyro"? Great news! You still have time to discover the answers to those questions and more by becoming a vital and valuable part of our team at ! We are looking for a few more people who are excellent communicators, reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic to join both our shooter and non-shooter crews. Before contacting us interested people should understand: 1. All applicants for pyrotechnician positions must be able to pass an immediate required background check. Note: While a felony does not automatically disqualify someone, it MUST have been non-violent and already expunged with all rights fully restored, and such applicants may only join non-shooter crews. 2. Applicants must also be able to pass initial and any/all random drug screens as required both by ATF regulations and company policies. Due to the nature of the positions, marijuana (even medicinal) is an automatic disqualification. 3. This is a SEASONAL business, not a full-time year-long career. As such, the majority of our crew have regular jobs (which sadly do not allow them to blow things up), if you do too it is important for you and us that you can safely take time away from your primary job during the imminent busy season. (Availability, specific work dates, locations, and compensation to be discussed in depth during interviews.) 4. Large professional fireworks shows are hard work and not for everyone. Our crew does it because it's awesome, a bit unique (how many pyrotechnicians do you know?), amazingly fulfilling to hear the crowds responding to the show, and have we mentioned... because they get to blow things up? All of our crew are excellent communicators, trustworthy and reliable, able to work long hours outdoors in the Arizona summer, and excellent at following directions, so you need to possess those qualities and skills as well. The results of that are not only awesome fireworks displays but an exceptional safety record!
