Construction - Renovation Assistant - temporary

Assist an experienced homeowner with renovations on her home. Hard physical labor. No experience required. This will just be a temporary independent contractor job, not an employee. Hours will be somewhat flexible. We can work out what will work for both of us. Pay: $15/hour cash, with a possibility of a bonus at the end if their work ethic deserves it. Around 20-30+ hours per week for 3+ weeks, starting on July 3rd. The first week will be during the day and/or evening and weekends. I have a different full-time job so I'll take this first week off work from my regular job. After that, the work hours might need to be just evenings and weekends, and possibly some afternoons if I can take more time off work. Depending on how this work goes, I may have additional work to offer in the future. The work from this assistant will only be done when I am also present. Must have your own transportation to the work site on the east side of Raleigh. The work will include assisting me with: -Flooring removal -Appliance removal -Install new appliances -Lifting and moving things -Removal and installing new bath vanities -Toilet removal and installation -Cleaning -Painting walls, trim, ceilings -Kitchen countertop and sink removal -Packing and moving furniture and boxes from old house to new house -other things tbd Cash paid on a weekly basis for hours worked that week. I am experienced with all the work to be done, so applicants don't need to know how. I will show them whatever I want them to do. I also have all the tools needed. Women are encouraged to apply, but anyone that is a hard worker and reliable will be considered. We will sign an independent contractors agreement prior to starting the work.
