Are you interested in a career in the construction trades?
Starting for 5 weeks in July, those in Shasta and Tehama County have a special opportunity to learn about the various fields in construction. After completion, you may choose to apply to an Apprentice Program which trains workers to become skilled in a particular trade and combines hands-on work with classroom learning while you earn a paycheck.

140-Hour Pre-Apprenticeship Training
July 18 - August 19, 2022 in Redding
The class will help attendees better understand their options in a variety of trades like masonry, heavy equipment operations, plumbing, electrical and more. It will also help them prepare for the pre-apprenticeship interview and provide a math refresher. There is no cost to attend. Plus, participants will earn their OSHA 10 card, first aid certificate, CPR card and pre-apprenticeship certificate while earning an incentive of up to $585!
Women and minorities are encouraged to attend.
