Trailer prep Technician

Description

Ensure health and safety while effectively performing all duties to prepare, clean, inspect and test tank trailers. Including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps (QRB’s) loading and unloading lines, hoses and other equipment that requires cleaning as per normal tank cleaning procedures to ensure the tank is clean, dry, and odor-free. Cleaning of the interior and exterior of tank trailers. Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment used for confined space entry and rescue. (Train if needed) Performs hands-on operations and understands how to operate product pumps and air compressors for drumming off product into alternate containers for storage or shipment. (Will train if needed) Ability to safely operate forklifts and yard tractors is desired. Communicate with supervisors and or dispatch any issues or delays in completing a task. Maintain a clean work area free of debris. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Experience/Education Required High School Diploma or Equivalent 1 year relevant experience Excellent attention to detail Mechanical ability and inclination Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Good organizational and communication skills Job Type: Full-time Apply by email to [email protected]
