Zebra Finch Named Reggie Re-home

We have had Reggie for 6 months, I thought he could be friends with my little society finch and it was like that for awhile but Reggie clearly needs more attention than I can provide him and my society finch prefers to hang out with her dove friends (we have two diamond-back doves.) He is a very special finch and I would never re-home a bird unless I thought I could not give him/her what they need, he is named Reggie because he memorized the register noise from the pet store in Seattle we found him at where he was alone & depressed in a cage all by himself. He steps-up and is very smart and curious but needs someone who has a lot of time to spend with him and make him happy. He shares a cage with my society finch at the moment but would need his own cage to be provided by who decided to share a home with him. I do this with a heavy heart but know it's what is best for him, he needs a single owner with a finch that needs a buddy or someone who has a bunch of finches so he can have friends. No cats or dogs please, he has never been around them and it would scare him. He will be such a good companion bird for someone who has the patience & time to devote to him, he is a hybrid zebra finch so he does not look like a regular zebra.
