The Banquet Set-up Attendant will prepare the banquet facility for dining and meetings by setting up tables and chairs, placing linens, and assisting Banquet Servers in arranging place settings, glassware and table settings.
Audio/Video setup experience preferred.
Ensures proper setup and functioning of coffee makers and other beverage machines.
Facilitates clean-up of the facility following the event by performing break-down of equipment: bussing plates, glasses, and utensils when necessary, removing linens, dismantling and storing tables and chairs, vacuuming carpet or cleaning floor surface as indicated
The ideal candidate should be available for evenings, including weekends, from 4 pm to 12 am. Schedule is given a week in advance. This is an on-call position, hours and days will not be consistent each week. Schedules are sent out at least a week in advance. Tips will be divided to all employees after each event.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push or pull. The employee must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
