We are small, local business looking for an experienced automotive service technician to join our growing auto team. Located in Placentia, we are known for our excellent customer service skills and professional employees. To best serve our loyal customers, we are always on the lookout for talented mechanics to be a part of our growing family! Responsibilities of the mechanic include inspecting customer vehicles, diagnosing problems with the engine or other systems, perform routine maintenance, and complete necessary repairs. Candidates with more than one year of mechanic experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service, so you must be friendly and passionate about giving our customers the best repair experience possible. Auto Mechanic Duties: 1. Examine cars based on customer requests or concerns 2. Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels 3. Perform tune ups for systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors 4. Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems 5. Identify mechanical and electrical error codes with both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment 6. Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately 7. Ensure customer satisfaction at all times Auto Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications -High School diploma or equivalent preferred -Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology a plus -ASE certification required -Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair -Basic computer skills required -Strong communication skills -Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds -Preferred if able to speak fluent English -Pero si hablamos español también Come join us and see what we are all about!!!
