Description

I will be moving out of state by the end of this month and need to get rid of my male duck as the place I'm moving to doesn't allow poultry as pets. I'm not sure how old he is as I adopted him from an environment of neglect. He is a very sweet boy, very quiet, in fact he can't make audible noises, he only hisses. Please only message me if you have at least one other duck in the home, as ducks are flock animals and suffer from loneliness when raised alone. I will warn that he gets a little aggressive and will peck at the female's feathers when mating, so be wary of that. The male to female ratio for ducks is 1 male to 4-5 females That's one male to four or five females, any less than that the females are guaranteed to be overmated and will be beat and battered, as male ducks have very high libido and they can get really rough when getting frisky. You can still adopt my drake if you have 1-3 females, but realize that you would have to seperate them often when the mating gets out of hand. Adoption fee is 40 dollars, I will provide a 40 pound bag of duck pellets. If after 6 months he is still in your care and in good health, I will send back the 40 dollars to you. Please give this boy a chance he's had a really rough life.
