"In my son's case, every suspect that was arrested in regards to his murder was apprehended again with another firearm during their arrest," said Jason Young, whose son, Jace, was shot and killed in San Francisco in July 2020. "I don't think that the appropriate measures are taken," Young said. "There are other measures that need to be taken before we even put these individuals back on the streets." oung campaigned for the successful recall of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, saying that he felt the Democrat's progressive policies eliminated accountability for criminals. Young said he and his family were happy Jace's story helped oust the DA. We were having a district attorney who was more worried about suing the manufacturers … and not about finding a more hands-on approach to dealing with the individuals that were actually caught with firearms, whether they were untraceable ghost guns or if they were traceable guns," Young said. Boudin's office filed a lawsuit against ghost gun manufacturers in October. California Attorney General Rob Bonta later joined the suit. Black lives matter too, if abortion doesn't work this policy will.
