Keller routinely develops innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions to challenging geotechnical problems for its customers. As the leader in Geotechnical we are constantly looking to expand our team and find new team members that are willing to grow within our company. We are currently seeking General Laborers to join our team on a local project in Dubuque, IA that is scheduled to run 2-3 months. Candidates need no experience, just eager to learn and work hard with a successful construction company, bringing a great work ethic/attitude to the crew. Upon completion of the project, employees may have the opportunity to transition into a traveling full-time position with Keller. Construction Laborer Position: In this position you will be required to perform physical work on this local site. You will start on basic tasks such as assisting with general site cleanup and organization, digging and grading with hand shovels, moving tools and supplies around site, and lubricating and cleaning equipment. From there you will be trained on the safe operation of basic hand and power tools used in construction such as drills, saws, grinders, and even pneumatic tampers and jackhammers. Further training opportunities will also be available throughout the season. More qualified candidates with hands on construction experience such as installing rebar, placing concrete, tending drilling operations, forklift and/or skid steer operating experience is a plus but not required. Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years or older. • Two forms of identification. • Eagerness to learn and have a coachable attitude. • Excited and willing to work overtime. • Stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
