This training will provide practical skills to service providers (licensed or non-licensed) working with LGBTQ+ youth in the homeless service system, schools (K-12 and higher ed.), counseling agencies, children’s services, case management, hospitals, vocational programs, and behavioral health. Topics covered include Cultural Humility & Intersectionality, Public Perception vs. Empirical Research, Contemporary Terminology, Systemic Trauma, and Trauma-informed Applications/Interventions CEUs: Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Chemical Dependency Counselor & Prevention CEUs approved.
