Seeking a team-player with a flexible work schedule (available days, nights, weekends and holidays). MUST have reliable transportation to and from work (county bus service may not be available on late night shifts) MUST be able to pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background to qualify for a State of Florida Para-mutuel Racing License. OUTSIDE MAINTENANCE OVERVIEW (plus BENEFITS).....$15.00 per hour: Perform duties to maintain natural environment and landscaped areas of company grounds. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Trim shrubs and trees; plant foliage and condition grounds · Operate grounds keeping equipment such as lawn mowers and trimmers · Pick up parking lot debris; make daily garbage pick up SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: · Flexible to work within any area of Maintenance department · Perform all other duties as assigned by management PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: · Meet all regulations pertaining to health, safety and personal hygiene in accordance with City, State, and Federal laws · Comply with Company / Department policies, including attendance · Must not present a direct threat to health, safety or the welfare of fellow employees or others · Treat all guests, vendors and employees with courtesy, respect, fairness and consistency · Professional in appearance, grooming and behavior · Ability to interpret and complete all communications received and submitted · Respond in a timely manner to all guests and employees · Mandatory Pari-Mutuel license to comply with the State of Florida, Department of Professional Regulations MACHINE / EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED: Lawn mower, hedge trimmer, lawn chemicals, tractors, trucks, steamer, weed eater, shovels and rakes SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Goggles, masks, back support, gloves, boots and rain gear QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: · Physically fit WORKING CONDITIONS: · Exposure to outdoor elements · Walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching · Occasional lifting (minimum of 25lbs.) · Exposure to various chemicals · Flexible work schedule · Overtime work on “as needed” basis Derby Lane 10490 Gandy Blvd St. Pete, FL 33702 DFWP / EOE Applications are located in the Poker Room at the Security Podium.
