We’ll walk under and appreciate its cooling canopy and stop along the way to learn about notable trees. You’ll learn a few new species names, hear about their connection to area ecology, and learn a bit of local tree lore along the way. Capital Nature is a Washington DC-based nonprofit with a mission to bring nature into the lives of area residents and visitors. We offer unique nature experiences, information about local nature activities in a regional calendar, and advice on nature-based strategies for wellbeing.
