RnR Guitar w B/U vox sought Hey We 3 (1 Gtrs, Bass/vox, and Drums) seek a dyed in the wool, been around the block Rock n Roller who loves powerpop as much as garage and Punk. Below is a link our our last record (we are WAY behind getting back in the studio to do our third due to some obvious reasons and others) We ve been basically doing a lot of wknd warrior things to rebuild our network and get new material road tested before we do a longer committment and have new material to hawk at shows. Also we’ve been dragging our feet a bit as we didnt really intend to be a three piece as it shorts the material but we ve been doing it proud and we ve been itching to play.. We are looking for someone who s very rock and roll, punk, garage, blues and powerpop Definately not rap, emo or metal. We seek a new 4th member who can sing backups in a mid to higher range as well as strong rhythm, trade cool melodic leads, and even do some double harmony lines ala Thin Lizzy. We love to get dirty but a good portion of the latest material seem to be short punchy catchy melodic things but we go back snd forth between the two. I’d say a good example or template of what we’re looking to do hover around Generation X, Stiv Bators from the Dead Boys 1st solo record “Disconnected”, Early Who, Creation, The Dickies, Hanoi Rocks, Cheap Trick and The Boys…melodic but keep the heavy. Similar roots are really important as its the musical language and vocabulary we work within. We have a small boutique label who has done a decent job w some airplay and some press. We have some local and east coast contacts and anything you might bring to the table would be great. We would consider being open to collaborations as long as they fit within the parameters of what we’re looking to do. We rehearse currently hourly on the lower east side.
