Live for Liv is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization honoring Olivia Marchand, just 17 years old who lost her life tragically to an incidence of domestic violence in 2010. The Ride for Liv/Run for Liv celebrates Olivia's life and raises awareness of domestic violence in our communities. The event is held at the 4H Fairground in Westford and has bike routes for 23 and 50 mile rides along the scenic back roads of Westford, Chelmsford, Concord, Carlisle, Groton and Acton, and a 5K and 10k run along a portion of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. There is truly something for everyone at this event! All proceeds raised from the event will be used to help survivors of domestic violence and to help achieve the vision of Liv's Independence House. Food trucks, vendors and family-friendly events are happening during and following the events. There will be games, face painting, arts and crafts, massages, essential oils, raffle items, and merchandise - be sure to stick around! Donations, sponsorships and participation are welcome.
