Join C 2.0 and our partners as we engage and mobilize communities in fun yet impactful ways! Locations across greater Pasadena, the San Gabriel Valley and L.A. County! High level promise: Take action and create tangible results in cooling your community to offset global warming. Who: Eco-activists, cities desiring to mobilize citizens to reduce the heat island effect and draw down legacy carbon. What: Fun, engaging eco-projects and a great way to meet others and cool down our neighborhoods. When: SATURDAY AUGUST 20, 10:00am-1:00pm. Why: Planting trees, shrubs and flowers help shade the ground and cool our neighborhhoods. Linked to efforts around the world we can together help reverse global warming. Cost: No charge, donations accepted to offset expenses.
