Join us on Saturday August 6th for our first Poker Ride. The ride kicks off at 10:00am at Craft Bru Taproom in downtown Des Moines. At registration each rider will be given a route map and instructions, but it's all quite simple. Entry fee includes five beer tastings and a commemorative lanyard koozie. Riders visit four breweries including 515, Fox, 1717, and Twisted Vine before returning to Craft Bru. This is roughly a 21 mile round trip ride. Participants draw a playing card at each stop in an attempt to make the highest poker hand. Turn your cards in at the final stop. The high hand, along with several "surprise" hands will be awarded at 6:00pm. You do not have to be present to win. High hand will receive $20 gift certificates to each of the five stops ($100 total). Surprise hands and prizes will be announced at the end of the ride. NOTE: We encourage participants to park and ride to the first stop at Craft Bru as parking on ride day will be very difficult.
