"We are living in uncertain times." The understatement of the year.... This is not political. Rising gas prices are driving trucking companies out of business. Dozens of food manufacturing plants have been destoryed in the last few months. This combination has led to empty shelves and rising food costs. It's more than inflation. Everyone should have a plan. We'll discuss different types of disasters--natural and man-made, including food shortages--and how to prepare for them. Come learn the basics that you'll need to preserve food for decades, purify water and handle most medical needs if and when it's needed. We can be prepared for: Food shortagesNatural disasters (hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc…)Medical needs if medicine becomes scarce There are three parts to this class: How to preserve food properly using in Mylar bags and glass jars, plus preparing with freeze-dried, dehydrated, canned, repackaging certain types of foods, storing seeds, etc.How to properly store, purify or filter water, and how much clean water is neededHow to use natural remedies instead of modern medicine if the need arises. This includes medical-grade essential oils that can be safely used in place of modern medicine. Purchasing options will be available.This class is not meant to scare you, or create fear. We simply watch what is happening in the world and want to be prepared for anything--just like having insurance. We hope we don't need it, but we're glad to have it if we do.
