Our recently established Community Garden is growing into an edible garden producing free produce and teaching agricultural techniques rooted in African diasporic traditions with our neighbors in New Orleans, 7th Ward.
This summer we are hosting a Garden School series of creative workshops inspired by our garden and the creative community of the city. Workshops sharing traditional knowledge and customs of African and Indigenous peoples concerning plants and their medical, religious, spiritual, entrepreneurial, and artistic uses.
