Ventura County Arts Council (VCAC) and Haven Ventura will unveil a new community partnership that would result in a new arts center for the Ventura County arts and culture community. Join them at their Open House event on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the proposed space, located at 1981 South Victoria Ave., Ventura, CA 93003. Haven Ventura is a finalist in the City of Ventura’s cannabis business permit process, and if awarded the permit, it has committed to donating the adjoining suite next door to its proposed retail cannabis establishment in perpetuity, in addition to paying for all renovations to the proposed arts center. Come learn about this unique opportunity for a new arts center, and how local arts supporters, artists and arts organizations can support VCAC and Haven in securing their vision for it. Enjoy beverages and hors d'oeuvres while mingling with fellow arts supporters, local officials, and the VCAC and Haven teams. Attendance is free and open to all. Please register to RSVP.
