WSP is Recruiting FEMA Disaster Housing Inspectors for the 2022 Hurricane Season Do you want to help disaster survivors get the help they need? Are you motivated, reliable, and hardworking? If so, we need you! FEMA's disaster housing program has a critical need for qualified and trained inspectors to help with the assessment of damages to private residences in devastated communities. WSP has been contracted by FEMA to fill this important role. If you are interested in working as a contracted disaster housing inspector with FEMA this hurricane season, the time to register is now! Starting this process now will allow for time necessary to complete the required, two-part background investigation. Here are a few important things to note: • This is on-call, intermittent employment that is dependent on disaster activity and FEMA needs. • WSP and FEMA expect new inspectors who go through the hiring event process to be readily available to physically deploy to disaster sites this hurricane season. • Experience is not required! WSP will provide paid training to prepare you to meet with disaster survivors and complete damage assessments. • Our inspectors are paid hourly for travel time and work.
