There is simply something unique about vintage bourbon. Processes were different, grains were different and the focus was on creating a quality product. Over time, that would change and bourbon would begin the slow decent into the doldrums it found itself in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Wes Hardin is a hobbyist bourbon hunter... he enjoys going out and finding old or "dusty" bourbon as its known. One of the cool things about bourbon is that it doesn't "go bad" so long as it's stored properly meaning we can quite literally taste history and see what these brands are all about. During this session, Wes will be sharing 3 vintage pours as he covers the history and people of these brands. A few notes about this event: 1. You must be 21 years of age or older and a resident of the United States to participate. 2. The event will be held at the ABV Barrel Shop's education center (6 Fox Valley Center, Arnold, MO 63010). 3. As a bonus for registrants, we will also do a pour of one of our latest barrel picks.
