Meet author Flannery O’Connor during our last Summer Chautauqua performance. O’Connor will be portrayed by professional actor Mallory Ivy on Tuesday, August 9th at 7:00 PM at the History Center. Flannery O’Connor was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1925 and is known for her Southern Gothic writing style and dark humor, which often reflected on life in the South. Her works include two novels and 32 short stories despite living with debilitating lupus throughout much of her short life. This event is free for Members. Non-Member tickets are $5 each cash or card at the door.
