As a young Church, we desire to experience the truth. In being raised Catholic, we have been told that Mary is important, but often, we've never had the chance to begin into this relationship in a personal way. For this year's Marian Days, we the young Church will be diving in deeply to the reality of God's love and the powerful intercession of His Mother Mary. We invite all high school youth to join us for the Youth Track of Marian Days. We will be having dynamic speakers, including Paul J. Kim, Fr. Brandon Dang, Sr. Kimberly Nguyen and more! Throughout the weekend, we will have moments of prayer, powerful worship and community. This is a FREE EVENT, so please register soon before we fill up! We'll see you on July 1 & 2! SCHEDULE FOR TEEN TRACK SESSIONS: Friday, July 1 5:40 pm- Check-in Begins 5:45 - Doors open6:00 to 7:10 - Opening Teen Track 7:30 pm - Return to Main Session with Mass Saturday, July 2 -- Doors open at 9:45 am 10 am to noon - Saturday Morning Teen Track Noon to 1:15 pm – Break for Lunch 1:15 pm to 4 pm – Saturday Afternoon Teen Track4:30 – Return to Main Session with Rosary ProcessionThese youth sessions are part of the larger Marian Days Event. About Marian Days: It is our great joy that Bishop Vann invites you to the Inaugural Marian Days scheduled for July 1-2, 2022, at the Shrine of Our Lady of La Vang on the beautiful campus of Christ Cathedral in the Diocese of Orange. Marian Days offers Catholics an opportunity to come together to pray, to walk in the Marian Procession while praying the Holy Rosary around the Cathedral campus, and to participate in Masses with the bishops of the Diocese of Orange and its choir of more than 800 voices. All is to give thanks to God for bestowing upon us many blessings through the intercession of Our Lady of La Vang. And that is the main theme this year, “With Mary, Giving Thanks to God.” F.A.Q.- Q- Is this just for the Vietnamese youth? A- No! We hope to have any high school youth, regardless of culture, join us for the youth session. Our youth session will be entirely in English. Only teenagers between the ages of 13 to 18 will be admitted to our session. Q- What do I need to bring? A- A water bottle, as it will likely be hot. Lunch will not be provided, but trust me, you won't want us providing lunch with all the mouthwatering food booths on site. So bring some spending cash! We'll have a lunch break for an hour. Q- Where exactly is the teen track going to be? A- We will be mainly in the Christ Cathedral Academy Gym, except for one session where we will be in the Cathedral.
