TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Tuesday. At 9:34 a.m., police responded to Borrell Park, 808 E 26th Ave., and discovered a man with a gunshot wound. The shooter fled south on foot through the park and jumped into a four-door, light-colored sedan that sped away on Nebraska Avenue. The man's wounds are not life-threatening. Anyone with information or who recognizes the car seen in a surveillance video is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
