And if you're passionate about bicycles, you’ll fit right in! The RTV Coordinator works in the Novato HQ Distribution Center M-F (9-5) and reports to the Distribution Center Manager and to the COO. The overall goal of the RTV position is to move warranty items through the RTV process as quickly as possible and to keep the dollar value of items in process as low as possible. As RTV Coordinator you will continuously improve RTV processes. You will interact with people in other departments in the DC and in HQ, with vendor representatives and with store associates. Details: Design new processes and systems and refine existing systems to achieve overall RTV goals Keep the RTV area organized Negotiate warranty policies with our vendors that align with our goals Inspect and verify incoming transfers of RTV product from stores Receive replacement warranty product from vendors and return to open stock Report part purchases and returns to Accounts Payable Facilitate product recalls Requirements: Knowledge of the following: The different types of bicycles, bike parts and accessories. Some knowledge of bike repair. The ability to specify replacement parts. Basic computer skills and file management. Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills. Work with little direct supervision. Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Able to lift heavy materials (at least 50 lbs.), bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time. Be familiar and compliant with all safety rules.
