Today, Beronio Lumber continues the tradition of supplying high quality fine wood products, serving San Francisco, the Peninsula and Marin. Job Description Drives various lifting devices (e.g. forklift) to move products and materials in order to assemble load packages into truck for delivery to customer job sites. Carefully identify product to assure correct materials and sizes and accurate quantities are pulled for customer orders. Perform load building duites keeping the following in mind: Attach identifying tags or labels to materials to provide correct identification of items Build load so it will safely ride on trucks and protect product from damage and exposure. Work in a safety conscious manner at all times. Any other duties as required by Supervisor Minimum Job Experience, Skills and Abilities Candidates should meet or surpass the following requirements: ü High School Diploma, GED Equivalent or passing grade on written reading, writing and math skills test. ü Knowledge of variety of building products a plus. ü Valid California Driver’s License. ü Forklift experience required minimum 1y, certification a plus. ü PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB: ü Ability to understand and communicate written and spoken information and ideas. ü Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. ü Ability to lift, carry and maneuver goods that may weigh 50 pounds, utilizing additional personnel and mechanical assistance as required. ü Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and torso such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials. ü Ability to courteously and professionally interact with our Customers. ü Ability to manage work time efficiently.
