We are seeking professional career-oriented individuals to fill a position in our appliance warehouse. Appliance Parts Distributors is a family-owned business that has been serving the greater bay area since 1963. APD has 4 locations: San Leandro, Dublin, Fremont, and a warehouse in Hayward. We are looking for a full-time warehouse agent that can excel in a physically demanding environment. Your Monday-Friday schedule will constitute: • Clocking in at the hayward warehouse (25817 Clawiter Rd) between 8-8:30am • Help finish loading the appliances on the trucks for the day • Uncrate appliances for next days delivery. We uncrate ≈ 120 appliances a day between 2-3 people. • Put cords on ranges and dryers • Reverse door hinges on refrigerators • Around 3pm you will start lining appliances and loading them onto the trucks for the next day • Clock out around 5:30pm Responsibilities: • Inspect appliances for damages • Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials Qualifications: • Ability to handle physical workload • Dependable and hardworking • Fluent English • Valid driver license Salary & benefits: • Starting wage $24 an hour + overtime • Full medical benefits • 401k & profit sharing • Yearly bonus • Paid holidays To apply please reply to this craigslist thread with you resume.
