I will transfer this to you! I was originally scheduled to sail in 2020 to celebrate a milestone. Then the pandemic hit. I canceled the cruise 5 days before we were set to sail and was issued a cruise credit. Three days before the cruise was set to sail, Royal Caribbean canceled the entire cruise and issued refunds to only those people who did not cancel prior to that. Over the last couple of years, and no luck of getting a refund, I have booked and canceled this cruise twice. Now life circumstances have changed and we are unable to go on the cruise. I paid a total of $1800 for the cruise in 2020. Because of upgrades and cruise credit the trip is now worth $2300. The outstanding amount left to pay by June 30 is $300 (taxes) which you would owe. So total out-of-pocket for you is $1800. Just trying to figure out how to recoup the money I put into this and wondering if there's any interest. If not, please do not post any disparaging comments. Royal Caribbean has said that I can transfer the tickets to other people names and someone else can take over the reservation with no penalty.
