Drummer looking for new project

I’m a drummer in the east bay, looking for a new project. Im 33, have a job and and a car. Willing to commute, depending on the project. I’m in a band already, that’s a bit more power-pop oriented. Kind of looking for something a bit more aggressive. I also have a studio in east Oakland with a live room, mixing room and vocal booth. I have professional gear, and am interested in doing some recording/demoing. Some of my favorite groups in the vein of what I’m looking for are artists like: Fugazi, Jawbox, Converge, Trap Them,Drive Like Jehu, Paint It Black, Entombed, Deafheaven, Cave In, Hot Snakes, Murder City Devils, Nerve Agents, PUP, High On Fire, Neurosis… Essentially, I’m looking for a fast heavy band, that’s still catchy and melodic. I’m open to playing with people of all race, ethnicity, gender/non-gender. Just as long as you’ve got some tasty riffs.
