Winchester Blvd. Campbell, CA 95008 Contact: Website: www.arieldanceproductions.com/masterclass.html ABOUT CALYSTA Calysta Westlake is a graduate from Chapman University with a Bachelor’s in Dance & Psychology and is well versed in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical. She trained with Mather Dance Company under Shannon Mather, as well as attended Orange County School of the Arts for Commercial Dance. Calysta toured with Velocity Dance Convention in 2017 after winning Senior National Maximum Velocity Artist and had the opportunity to work with Tessandra Chavez, Kyle Hanagami, Blake McGrath and others during her seasons in the convention’s training program. As a teacher, she has had the opportunity to teach at Millenium Dance Complex Orange County, Mather Dance Company, and other studios in the OC area. Outside of the performance community, Calysta is a certified mat Pilates instructor, with the goal of encouraging dancers to strengthen their bodies to prevent injury and provide stability in their dancing.
