Course Description:
This course provides valuable information to the participant as it relates to the assessment, examination, treatment intervention and potential outcomes for those individuals who present with a vestibular dysfunction. Foundational concepts and advanced clinical topics will include an anatomical review, pathophysiology, clinical examination, review of vestibular function testing, outcome measures, treatment principles and planning, pharmacological management of dizzy patients, review the interface between anxiety and dizziness and central and peripheral vestibular disorders. This course will include didactic information as well as extensive labs to practice examination and treatments for vestibular dysfunction.
