Press release from the Town of Waterford: June 10, 2022 Translate Terry Wheeler joins the team with a great deal of familiarity It is with a great deal of excitement that we announce Terry Wheeler as the newly appointed Assistant Director of Senior Services. After a search that included many wonderful candidates, the panel chose Terry who comes to us with 25 years of professional experience in health and wellness. With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Community Health Administration and Wellness Promotion, Terry has extensive experience in working with all age populations; most recently facilitating classes at Waterford Senior Services. She is trained in providing yoga, fitness and mindfulness classes. She also has a holistic approach to how she delivers programs and services. In her free time, Terry likes to travel, spend time with family and friends, cheer on Waterford High School at her son's lacrosse and football games, and the occasional Netflix binge-watch . Terry often mentions her love for Waterford's beaches and parks, and believes in the transformative power of nature. Terry lives in Waterford with her husband, children, dog, and two cats.
