WINCHESTER, MA — Students from Burlington High School and Winchester High School worked together for five months to create a united exhibition, now on display at the Griffin Museum of Photography.
PhotoSynthesis XVII is open through July 3, 2022, and showcases the collaborative work of 22 young photographers. The program, now in its seventeenth year, helps teach students how to use photography as a "visual language" by connecting them with professionals in the field.
The group was tasked with creating an exhibition that "communicates a sense of self and place," according to the Griffin Museum website.
The 13 participants from Burlington High School were Lindsay Bullock, Caileigh Connolly, Samantha Goneau, Mary Kate Hayes, Alyssa LoCicero, Alexander McGillvray, Georgia Doherty, Zachary Doucette, Lindsey Lavioe, Caroline Sciarratta, Isabelle James, Paul Fauller and Navya Garg.
The 9 from Winchester High School were Alex Azzarra, Neave Bunting, Ibny Xian Crookson, Claire English, Marly Exantus, Sophia Lubin, McKenna McDaniels, Athena Wang and Zoe Xanthopoulos.
