LONG BEACH, NY — A Long Beach man has been arrested for a fatal shooting that took place in March. Shaun Teemer, 23, was charged with second-degree murder and was scheduled for a Tuesday arraignment in Hempstead, detectives said. During the overnight hours of March 19, a man was critically wounded by gunfire on East Broadway in Long Beach. Humberto Manuel Francis Hernandez, 37, of Queens, died five days later from his injuries, police said. Long Beach police and the Homicide Squad assisted in arresting Teemer, detectives said.
