Press release from the Baltimore County Police Department: June 14, 2022 On June 13, detectives from the Baltimore County Carjacking Team and Regional Auto Theft Taskforce apprehended and charged 35-year-old Charles Hoffman with carjacking, robbery, assault, and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and theft. Detectives believe that on June 12, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Hoffman approached an individual in the 5300 block of Nottingridge Road, 21162, and asked for a ride. When the individual refused, he assaulted them, and stole their vehicle. Charles Hoffman is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
