Ygnacio Valley Road Reopens Following Crash

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek Police Department is reporting all lanes of Ygnacio Valley Road reopened Tuesday morning following a crash Monday. On Monday at 12:30 p.m., a driver crashed into a power pole on Ygnacio Valley Road between San Carlos Drive and Bancroft Road. The crash brought down power lines, and the roadway was closed as crews worked to repair the damage. Walnut Creek Communications and Outreach Manager Betsy Burkhart said there were no injuries and police don't believe drugs or alcohol were involved. Copyright © 2022 Bay City News, Inc.
