NOW HIRING:   Cabinetmaker/Carpenter Acer Exhibits & Events – Havre de Grace We are a small company in business 19 years, experiencing steady growth. We are currently seeking an experienced cabinetmaker/carpenter to join our creative and talented team. We offer competitive pay and a generous benefit package. Job Summary: Support the fabrication of custom trade show exhibits, themed environments, and museum displays. Requires the use of cabinetmaking skills to cut, assemble and finish various materials such as solid wood, plywood and acrylic. Experience and Abilities: Must possess a minimum of 3+ years of work experience in cabinetmaking/carpentry. Must possess cabinetmaking/carpentry skills of cutting, joining and preparing wood, plywood, and various plastics using hand and power tools. Must be able to read blueprints and shop drawings. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be able to provide personal basic hand tools. Able to work overtime as required. Occasional local travel as required. Able to lift and move heavy objects and work from lifts, ladders and high platforms. Previous experience as an Exhibit Builder and/or Installer is desirable.
