Job Listing: The incumbent of this position is responsible for the skilled operation of computerized sign making equipment, and for the prompt performance of assignments according to an established routine or special instructions received from a superior. Duties may include responsibility for supervising employees assigned to assist with thermoplastic installation, sign erection or removal, or other field work as assigned by the supervisor. Work is reviewed by a superior through personal inspection and observation of compliance with established work schedules. On relief or special assignments, the employee may be required to assist in other operations of the crew as needed. Employee may also perform manual labor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s licenseHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentAbility to obtain and maintain flagger Certification within 6 months of hireAbility to complete “Wok Zone Traffic Control” courses recognized by the State of Maryland within one year. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and/or experience with computerized sign making equipment or similar experience.One (1) Year Construction related experience or combination of education and experience.
