Description
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Warmer weather and the return of summer means mosquitoes are making their annual appearance. This month, Morris County will be treated for mosquitos due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
The Morris County Mosquito Commission will complete the ground-level fogging operation.
The operation will involve an All-Terrain vehicle with a mounted sprayer using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329, or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B, according to the Commission.
The Commission has announced the vehicle will be used to treat a section of woods in East Hanover Township, Harding Township and Chatham on Monday morning. Hanover and Parsippany on Tuesday, and East Hanover, Chester and Florham Park on Wednesday.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., weather permitting, the commission said.
